Catchmaster Optima is an Industrial design Electric UV Lamp utilizing airplane-grade aluminum. The electric fly trap is easy to install and service with 15-watt shatterproof bulbs. The sticky traps inside should be replaced monthly for best results. Bulbs should be replaced every 6 to 12 months. Replacement should take place at the beginning of the season when the heaviest flying insect pressure occurs-typically in the spring. Place the indoor fly traps 3 to 5 feet off the ground in your kitchen, dining area, food hall, food preparation area, barn, and other locations where flies and other flying insects might thrive. If possible, place it away from competing light sources and not facing open doors or windows.
